Why Death Penalty Is Unfair &Crimes Punishable For Death

Death Penalty all begins with racial discrimination. Many people have been given the death penalty based on their color or gender.
Racial discrimination was one of the grounds on which the Supreme Court ruled the death penalty unconstitutional in Furman. Half a century ago, in his classic American Dilemma (1944), Gunnar Myrdal reported that "the South makes the widest application of the death penalty, and Negro criminals come in for much more than their share of the executions." A recent study of the death penalty in Texas shows that the current capital punishment system is an outgrowth of the racist "legacy of slavery."18 Between 1930 and the end of 1996, 4,220 prisoners were executed in the United States; more than half (53%) were black

The death penalty allows many people to be wwrongfully killed. And even they did do the crime, why not just let them sit there and in the prison. Thats far worst than having them killed. They loose all self respect when people are allowed to watch the killings.

All executions since 1976 have been for murder or conspiracy to commit murder, although other crimes are eligible for the DP depending on what state you are in.
Most states require additional aggravating circumstances to make a murder eligible for the DP. An aggravating circumstance could be a prior felony conviction, kidnapping the murder victim, raping the murder victim or premeditating the crime, depending on what state you are in.
Crime punishable by death: Jurisdiction:
Treason (fighting against your own country) Federal and Military courts, AR, CA, CO, GA, LA
Aggravated Kidnapping CO, GA, ID, KY, SC
Willfully causing a Train Wreck CA
Perjury (lying under oath) which led to an execution CA, ID
Hijacking a Plane GA, MS
Sex Crimes against a victim younger than 14 by a repeat offender OK
Sex Crimes against a victim younger than 11 by a repeat offender SC
Rape of a victim younger than 13 LA
Capital Sexual Battery FL
Murder during an act of Terrorism NJ
Capital Drug Trafficking FL, NJ

Most people who are on death role, are mostly people who don't know any better. People who have mental disablities. How are they suppose to know what is right and wrong. So are you saying that you can take their life because they have mental disablities. What if you were all for the death penalty and that was your child going to be on death role, would you approve of the death penalty then? I don't think so.
